Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how SageVox, Inc. ("SageVox", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and web application (collectively, the "Services"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone, or similar) when you visit a website or use a web application. Cookies help us remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and operate the Services reliably. They do not directly identify you by name, but some cookies are linked to your account when you are authenticated.
2. What cookies do we use?
SageVox follows a minimal cookie strategy: we use only cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the Services. We do not currently set analytics or advertising cookies on our own domains.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the Services to function. They cannot be disabled through our site without breaking core features such as sign-in or theme display. Blocking them in your browser may limit your ability to use authenticated areas.
- SageVox — theme preference Cookies: sage_theme Purpose: Remembers your dark or light display preference so the interface loads consistently across visits. Duration: Up to one year Provider: SageVox (first-party)
- SageVox — cookie notice Cookies: sage_cookie_consent Purpose: Remembers that you acknowledged our cookie notice so we do not show it on every visit. Duration: Up to one year Provider: SageVox (first-party)
- Supabase — authentication session Cookies: Session cookies set by Supabase Auth (typically prefixed with sb- and your project reference, for example access and refresh token chunks) Purpose: Keeps you signed in securely when you use an account; required for authenticated learner features. Duration: Session or as configured by Supabase Auth (see provider documentation) Provider: Supabase Privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy
Analytics cookies
We do not currently use first-party or third-party analytics cookies (for example Google Analytics or PostHog) on the Services. If we introduce optional analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies.
Marketing cookies
We do not currently use marketing or social-advertising cookies (for example Meta or X conversion pixels) on the Services. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide appropriate consent choices where required.
3. Cookie management
On your first visit, we show a short notice explaining that we use strictly necessary cookies only. Accepting dismisses the notice for up to one year. We do not use optional analytics or marketing cookies today; if we introduce them in the future, we will ask for your consent before placing them. You also remain in control through your browser:
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out or reset your theme preference.
- To sign out and clear Supabase session cookies, use Sign out in the app or clear site data for our domain in your browser.
