Terms of Service for consumers in the European Economic Area.

Welcome to SageVox. We provide a voice-first learning companion — a personal mentor for deep wisdom and mastery through conversation, guided programs, and structured learning state. These Terms of Service (these "Terms") govern your personal use as an EEA consumer of our website, web application, and related products and services we offer (collectively, the "Services").

Who we are. The Services are provided by SageVox, Inc. ("SageVox", "we", "us", or "our"). You can contact us at legal@sagevox.com.

Key points. Before you read the full Terms, three points to keep in mind:

• As between you and SageVox, you retain rights to content you provide; mentor responses ("Outputs") are generated by AI and may be inaccurate. Always verify information before relying on it.
• You must have the necessary rights and permissions before submitting any content ("Input") to the Services.

You may not use the Services to generate unlawful content or content that infringes third-party rights. Use must comply with our Foundations and applicable law.

Contract. By creating an account, signing in, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which together form a binding agreement between you and SageVox.

1. Accessing the Services

Age requirements. You must be at least sixteen (16) years old to use the Services. Where required by law, minors must have parental or guardian permission. We may delete accounts that violate these requirements.

Accounts. Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Your account is for your individual use; do not share credentials or create multiple accounts to circumvent limits. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

2. Paid programs and subscriptions

Pricing. Where we offer paid programs or subscriptions, applicable pricing (including taxes, where shown) and accepted payment methods are indicated at checkout or on our pricing pages. Prices are shown inclusive of applicable VAT where required.

Ordering. To purchase paid access, you select the offering, accept these Terms, and complete checkout. Paid access begins once your order is confirmed.

Payment and renewal. You must provide valid billing information. For recurring subscriptions, we charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel. If payment fails, we may suspend access until payment is received.

Cancellation. You may cancel a paid subscription through your account settings or by contacting us. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or when you exercise your withdrawal right under Section 8.

Price changes. If we increase prices for a renewing subscription, we will give you at least thirty (30) days' notice by email. The increase applies on your next renewal after the notice period, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

3. Using the Services

License. As between you and SageVox, we own the Services. We grant you a non-exclusive, personal, non-transferable right to access and use the Services in compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

Restrictions. You will not, and will not permit others to:

• Use the Services in violation of law, these Terms, or third-party rights;
• Submit Input or generate Output that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, discriminatory, or infringing;
• Submit personal information of children below the applicable age of digital consent without required consent;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract underlying models or systems except where prohibited restrictions cannot be enforced under applicable law;
• Circumvent security, moderation, or usage limits;
• Resell, sublicense, or make the Services available to third parties for commercial purposes;
• Use automated means to access the Services except as we expressly permit.

Voice and text. The Services support voice and text interaction. Browser-based voice features may rely on your device or browser capabilities. Text alternatives remain available. Voice sessions are subject to the same principles described in our Privacy Policy.

Usage limits. We may apply rate limits or fair-use policies to protect service quality. Excessive use may result in temporary suspension until limits reset or your plan changes.

Moderation. We may use automated and human review to enforce these Terms, protect users, and maintain service integrity. We may remove or restrict access to content that violates law or these Terms.

Updates. We may deploy updates to improve security, compliance, or functionality. Where an update materially impairs your use of paid Services, we will notify you and you may cancel affected paid access within thirty (30) days of notice without penalty, where required by law.

4. Your content and mentor outputs

Your Data. You may provide Input (such as messages, prompts, or voice transcripts) and receive Output from the mentor. We refer to Input and Output together as "Your Data". To the extent permitted by law, you retain ownership of Input and, as between you and SageVox, own Output we assign to you.

Your responsibilities. You are responsible for Input and for evaluating Output for accuracy and fitness for your purpose. Do not represent AI-generated Output as solely human-authored where that would mislead others. You warrant that you have all rights needed to provide Input.

How we use Your Data. We use Your Data to provide and improve the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your private conversation threads to train public models. Curated learning material used to ground responses may be hosted under separate provider terms.

Output accuracy. Sage is an AI mentor, not an infallible authority. Outputs may be incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely on Output as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions. See our Foundations for how we approach truth and uncertainty.

Similar responses. Outputs may be similar for different users. We do not guarantee uniqueness of responses.

Prohibited content. You may not use the Services to create or share unlawful content or content that violates these Terms. We may restrict or remove such content.

5. Warranties

We warrant that, when used in accordance with these Terms, the Services will materially conform to the documentation we make available to you. You may also have mandatory consumer rights under the laws of your country of residence, which are not limited by these Terms.

You warrant that you have authority to accept these Terms and will use the Services lawfully.

6. Liability

We provide the Services with professional diligence and aim to maintain a safe, reliable experience. Subject to mandatory consumer law, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you accepted these Terms, losses not caused by our breach, or events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

7. Data portability

You may export your learner data using the export feature in your Profile, as described in our Privacy Policy. Export formats and scope may evolve as the product develops. We do not warrant compatibility with third-party systems.

Account deletion is available from Profile. After deletion, recovery may not be possible except where retention is required by law.

8. Withdrawal (EEA consumers)

If you are an EEA consumer and purchase paid digital Services, you may have a fourteen (14) day right to withdraw from your contract without giving reasons, unless an exception applies under applicable law (for example, where performance has begun with your express prior consent).

To withdraw, cancel through account settings or send an unequivocal statement to legal@sagevox.com within the withdrawal period. If you withdraw lawfully, we will refund payments without undue delay and within fourteen (14) days, using the same payment method unless you agree otherwise.

9. Term, suspension, and termination

These Terms apply while you use the Services. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, if required by law, or if continued use poses material risk. Where reasonable, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to remedy a curable breach.

You may delete your account at any time through Profile or by contacting us. On termination, you remain responsible for fees incurred before termination. Provisions intended to survive termination will continue to apply.

10. Privacy

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, manage your account, and comply with law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect new features, legal requirements, or product changes. We will give you at least thirty (30) days' notice of material changes by email or in-product notice. If you do not agree, you may stop using the Services and delete your account before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

12. Governing law and disputes

As an EEA consumer, you may bring claims before the courts of your country of residence under the substantive law of that country. You may also bring claims before competent courts in our place of establishment if applicable.

You retain any right to use mediation or other out-of-court dispute mechanisms available under applicable law. Participation in mediation is voluntary unless required by law.

13. General

Mandatory provisions of the laws of your country of residence apply where they cannot be waived. You may not assign your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, provided your consumer rights are not materially impaired.

Neither party is liable for delay or failure due to events beyond reasonable control. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Foundations where incorporated by reference for conduct expectations, constitute the entire agreement regarding consumer use of the Services. If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
